This painting explores various levels of transformation; experienced all along the spectrum of the micro to macro levels. There is both liberation and struggle; euphoria and pain; life and death. The nakedness and exposure to the natural elements is both courageous and heroic; while also vulnerable and humbling. In the midst of this transformation, the individual has both arrived at a plateau, but has not fully arrived at their destination. As the odyssey continues, the traveller is accompanied by mystical and majestic companions.
